~~~ Emeraldgreen DIY Scarf ~~~
Hey folks!
I was so inspired by “Kate’s DIY T-Scarf Tutorial”* that I decided to try an own version.
Basically, I used another fabric which does not curl and a winter/autumn colour that goes with my coat. I spontaneously made use of my residual brown wool and matched buttons.
It took me an hour to do this scarf without help while cutting the shirt (which was much more exhausting than I thought!) but it definitely was worth it; especially because it is an unique item that nobody else has. I forgot how much fun it is to do handicrafts :)
Just grab
- an old shirt (which you do not wear anyway)
- big scissors
- some wool/ a piece of leather/ a nice ribbon/ someting to tie your scarf
- bijouterie/ buttons/ wooden beads/ a broken necklace/ something to decorate your scarf
and get started!
Tell me about your experience with doing handicrafts & post/ show me your results & work :)
Peace,
Eyifas
